By entering the BCA Pop-Up Prize competition, you indicate your acceptance of this Agreement and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Background to the agreement

1.1. The rights that you have to enter the competition are set out in this Agreement. You may only enter the competition if you agree to the terms of this agreement.

1.2. If you do not agree, or do not have authority to enter into this Agreement, you may not enter the competition.

2. Competition participation

2.1 The competition is open to fully paid up delegates of BA Summit SA.

2.2 Only one entry per person per competition is allowed.

3. Competition entry

3.1 Qualifying respondents are opted into a prize draw.

3.2 The competition is open to anyone who fulfils the competition requirements.

3.3 Winners must not be Business Change Academy employees, IIBA-SA Board Members, BA Summit Volunteers or anyone connected directly with the sponsor, conference or draw.

3.4 Entry to the prize draw is free. No purchase necessary.

3.5 Neither BCA nor its promoters will be held responsible for any entries that are not received by it for any reason by the closing date, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.

3.6 Respondents are subscribed to the Business Change mailing list. Subscribers can opt-out at anytime.

4. Competition prize

4.1 Each winner will receive one complimentary virtual course from the International Diploma in Business Analysis Programme – Business Analysis Practice, Requirements Engineering, Foundation in Business Analysis, or Modelling Business Processes – as BCA decides.

4.2 Course prize excludes the BCS exam.

4.3 The BCS exam can be paid for separately.

4.4 Travel and accommodation costs will not be provided.

4.5 All prizes are subject to availability.

4.6 The prize is non-transferable. No cash or alternative will be offered.

5. Prize draw

5.1 The winner will be drawn at random, from qualifying entrants.

5.2 The judge’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

6. Winners commitment

6.1 The competition winner must attend the course presentation.

6.2 No alternative prize will be provided if the winner does not attend the course presentation.

6.3 The competition winner shall produce a written article (600-800 words) to be published on the BCA website regarding their experience of attending BCA training.

7. Force Majeure

7.1 Neither party will be liable for any delay in performing or any failure to perform any obligations under this Agreement due to any cause beyond their reasonable control, including but without being limited to any of the following: strikes, lock outs or other industrial action, sabotage, terrorism, civil commotion, riot, invasion, war, threat of or preparation for war, fire, explosion, failure of electrical supply, storm, flood, subsidence, epidemic or other natural physical disaster, impossibility of the use of railways, shipping aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport; any act or policy of any state or government or other authority having jurisdiction over either party, sanctions, boycott or embargo.
