Tell us a bit about yourself, Phillip.
I’m a Business Analyst at Saratoga, with 3 years work experience – 2 of which is in business analysis.
Why did you choose to take the foundation in business analysis course?
I choose the course to test and enhance my own understanding of what it means to be a business analyst, and to learn new skills that would further enable my work.
How will the course help you in your career?
It has definitely solidified my knowledge, and has given me structure and techniques that enhance my existing skills and knowledge.
What was your biggest learning - did you have an AHA! Moment?
Formalising the entire end-to-end business analysis process was a good AHA! moment - it really brought the function of the broad role together for me.
What did you enjoy most about the BCMG training experience?
The flexibility and conversation around each topic was great.
And whilst the Lindt chocolates, salted nuts and Bos ice tea were delicious - maybe even better (and more) mid-course snacks would be good!
What would you tell someone who is considering doing this course?
That it will provide them with certification, and formalise exactly what they need to know as a business analyst.
In the spirit of ‘keep growing’, what would you like to learn next?
I’m keen to do another business analyst course towards the International Diploma in Business Analysis – and I’m going to decide which one to do next.
