All business professionals who have completed their two core and two specialist modules and want to be fully prepared for their BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis oral exam.

What you'll learn
Put all of the techniques you’ve learned from your course modules into context and prove that you’ve gained the analytical and interpersonal skills needed to be awarded the diploma. Together, we'll review the core and specialist modules you’ve taken and prepare for what the examiners might ask you by practising some sample oral questions. Includes exam guidelines, mandatory module review, knowledge based specialism review, practitioner specialism review, practice questions, and much more.

The rationale for business analysis, sectors of the economy, business environment analysis, legal framework for business analysis, SWOT analysis, business performance measurement, business change lifecycle.

Business analysis techniques
Investigating and documenting business situations, stakeholders and perspectives, business activity modelling, business events and business rules, gap analysis.

Business case
External environment analysis – PESTLE, Five Forces Analysis; Internal environment analysis – Resource Audit, MOST; Building a SWOT analysis.

Requirements definition
Critical success factors and key performance indicators; measuring performance – the Balanced Business Scorecard.

Requirements management
Initiating a business analysis study, defining terms of reference; business and project objectives; deliverables from business analysis studies.

Knowledge-based specialism
